Excited to share my latest research article titled “Conceptions of climate change across cognitive, affective, and behavioural dimensions among adolescents: Insights from Indonesian upper-secondary students”, now published in npj Climate Action.
This study investigates how over 4,500 upper-secondary students across Indonesia understand climate change, not just in terms of knowledge, but also their concern, hope, self-efficacy, and willingness to act. Cluster analysis revealed three distinct student profiles: the Uncertain, the Learners, and the Advocates, each with unique conceptions and educational needs.
I am grateful to my supervisor, my mentors at the Sustainable Society Design Centre at The University of Tokyo, the funders, as well as the reviewers and editor for their support and guidance.
